Connecting the history of flight
I designed Like Birds as a museum history wall connecting the story of flight with selected digital interactives. My scope included exhibit concepts, CAD, environmental graphics, UI/UX and interactive development through a CMS.
I recommended materials and lighting to support the historical content and the visitor experience. My contribution covered the physical and digital design; fabrication was handled separately.

Bringing graphics into the environment
I designed the exhibit graphics as part of the physical history wall. The graphic and spatial work supported the same historical content, connecting the visual presentation with the larger museum environment.

Extending the story through interaction
I designed the UI/UX and developed selected interactives through a CMS. These experiences took users through the histories of individual aviation pioneers, adding a digital layer to the wall’s broader story.

Recommending the material direction
I recommended materials and finishes alongside the exhibit graphics and CAD development. I considered how the proposed surfaces would support the historical content, display areas and overall visual character of the wall.

Planning the lighting
I recommended lighting to support the wall’s graphics, display areas and historical narrative. I considered illumination together with materials and spatial design so the physical and digital content could share a consistent presentation.

Developing the wall in CAD
I developed the exhibit in CAD, translating the spatial concept into the wall’s forms, display areas and component relationships. The model helped communicate the proposed design for subsequent fabrication by others.

Resolving individual exhibit areas
My design scope extended into the wall’s individual areas as well as the overall environment. CAD development helped carry the larger concept into the parts that would form the physical exhibit.

Integrating display areas
I worked across the physical wall and selected digital experiences, bringing both into the exhibit’s development. This connected the design of the build with the places where visitors encountered historical content.

Communicating the complete exhibit design
I brought the exhibit design, CAD, graphics, material and lighting recommendations, and selected CMS interactives into one coordinated proposal. My work established the design intent for the physical environment and its digital touchpoints; fabrication was outside my scope.
